Job Summary

Supporting payroll operations in a hybrid or fully remote capacity, the full-time Payroll Administrator will manage state registration requests, coordinate with third-party administrators, and resolve unemployment insurance discrepancies.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage and complete outstanding state registration requests to ensure compliance across jurisdictions
  • Coordinate with Third-Party Administrators to confirm system access and validate account setup
  • Review and maintain payroll tax account numbers across multiple states to ensure compliance
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-7+ years of experience in payroll administration or payroll tax functions
  • Familiarity with multi-state payroll tax compliance and unemployment insurance processes
  • Experience working with payroll systems, specifically Workday
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve complex payroll discrepancies
