Job Summary
To support the Payroll Department, the full-time remote Payroll Administrator will manage the preparation, processing, and distribution of bi-weekly payroll while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform all payroll functions to ensure accurate and timely processing and payment of payroll
- Research and resolve payroll-related issues, collaborating with multiple departments for effective problem resolution
- Maintain documentation of payroll processes and participate in year-end activities, including reconciliations and tax form issuance
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years of relevant experience is required
- Experience with UKG Ready and in the non-profit sector is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to create formulas
- Knowledge of payroll functions, including preparation, balancing, and payroll taxes
- Ability to manage sensitive information confidentially and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
