Job Summary
To ensure compliance and accuracy, the full-time Payroll Administrator will manage the timely processing of payroll, maintain payroll records, and respond to employee inquiries in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process semi-monthly payroll and validate timesheets, attendance records, and payroll-related data
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Investigate payroll discrepancies and prepare payroll reports for management and HR
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of payroll processing experience with strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance
- Experience in processing payroll adjustments, retroactive payments, and garnishments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to identify payroll discrepancies and troubleshoot issues independently
