Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Analyst to manage payroll reconciliation and analytics, influencing business decisions through data insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and perform payroll data reconciliation with financial data on a weekly basis
• Identify opportunities for payroll process improvements through root cause analysis
• Develop monthly statistical analyses to forecast payroll budgets and support process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, GL reconciliation, or financial analysis
• 2+ years of intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of payroll processes and financial reporting
• Experience analyzing large datasets and working with ERP or HRIS systems
