Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

Owning and executing end-to-end payroll processing, the contract Payroll Analyst will ensure accuracy and compliance while working remotely, focusing on payroll data audits, reporting, and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including regular and off-cycle runs, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies
• Design and perform payroll data audits and reconciliations to maintain data integrity and minimize risks
• Build and analyze payroll reports and metrics to measure accuracy, timeliness, and operational performance

Required qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Familiarity with SOX-level internal controls and audit processes
• Proficient in building and analyzing payroll metrics and reports
• Ability to partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors for issue resolution
