Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, the full-time remote Payroll Analyst will manage multi-state payrolls, maintain compliance with payroll regulations, and support payroll-related reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review multi-state payrolls on a regular cycle, auditing payroll data for accuracy
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations while reconciling payroll reports and general ledger accounts
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and system issues, while maintaining employee payroll records in the HRIS/payroll system

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of payroll processing experience
• Experience with HR Information Management systems such as UKG, Oracle Fusion, Workday, or PeopleSoft preferred
• Experience in processing multi-state payrolls with knowledge of payroll laws and federal, state, and local taxes
