Job Summary
To support payroll operations across multiple companies, the full-time Payroll Analyst (Utah Licensed) will manage multi-state payroll processing, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and collaborate with HR on employee inquiries, all while working remotely within the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Process and reconcile multi-state payroll in Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Monitor payroll tax deadlines and support year-end activities such as W-2 processing
- Partner with HR to handle compensation changes, new hire setups, and employee inquiries
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment
- Proficiency with Workday Payroll; experience with equity or stock-based payroll is a plus
- Knowledge of ADP SmartCompliance and payroll tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines accurately
- Experience using AI tools for process improvement and automation
