Job Summary
Managing payroll and benefits for corporate salaried employees, the full-time remote Payroll and Benefits Specialist will oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with regulations, and serve as the HRIS subject matter expert while supporting system improvements and training initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and process corporate payrolls biweekly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Serve as the primary HRIS and UKG expert, supporting system administration, reporting, and process automation
- Maintain payroll records, prepare reports, and assist with payroll tax administration and compliance activities
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of progressive experience in payroll administration required
- Experience administering multi-state payrolls and payroll tax compliance required
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll applications required; UKG experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements
