Job Summary
To support payroll operations, the full-time remote Commissions & Payroll Accountant will manage payroll functions, including salary payments, commissions calculations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain payroll processing systems for timely and accurate payroll transactions
- Calculate and reconcile commissions payments in accordance with approved compensation plans
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and facilitate audits by providing necessary documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- 2+ years of experience in payroll, commissions, or accounting operations
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis
- Experience using payroll software such as Sage Intacct or Rippling preferred
