Job Summary
Supporting the Payroll Compliance Audit function, the hybrid Payroll Compliance Associate will analyze payroll and accounting records, communicate findings to employers, and manage multiple examinations while ensuring compliance with union agreements.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze payroll, accounting, and employment records using Microsoft Excel to identify trends and discrepancies
- Communicate findings and information requests clearly and professionally with employers and fund representatives
- Prepare preliminary and final reports detailing the findings of payroll examinations while managing multiple priorities
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data organization and analysis
- Experience in payroll processing, bookkeeping, accounting, auditing, or compliance functions is beneficial but not required
- Willingness to learn about collective bargaining agreements and payroll compliance examination procedures
- Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
