Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Compliance Auditor, the full-time position will perform compliance audits to ensure accurate contributions to labor union benefit plans, utilizing both remote and on-site methods, including potential travel outside the tri-state area.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct compliance audits to verify accurate contributions to labor union benefit plans
- Analyze payroll data against employee benefit plan data to confirm correct contributions
- Prepare detailed reports and analyses using MS Excel and MS Word, communicating findings effectively with stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Associates Degree in Accounting or a related field is required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- One year of experience in payroll and accounting is required
- Experience with payroll auditing is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, along with strong analytical skills
- Effective prioritization and time management skills are essential
