Payroll Compliance Director

Job Summary

To ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, the full-time remote Payroll Compliance Director will manage payroll operations, oversee compliance with federal and state regulations, and lead third-party payroll system implementations while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and internal policies
• Coordinate the implementation and upgrades of payroll systems, driving operational efficiency and process improvements
• Serve as a compliance champion by staying updated on payroll regulations and conducting audits to mitigate risks

Required qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll operations and compliance management
• Proven ability to implement payroll technology solutions and drive process standardization
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and internal teams
• Knowledge of global, regional, and local payroll laws and best practices
• Experience in using data analytics to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency
