Job Summary

Focusing on payroll compliance and efficiency, the full-time Payroll Compliance Specialist will research and implement changes to ensure compliance with payroll tax laws within the Workday payroll system while serving as backup for payroll processing and audits.

Key responsibilities
  • Independently review and validate compliance in Workday payroll setup, making necessary recommendations and changes
  • Monitor and document compliance changes in federal, state, and local payroll laws, partnering with Human Resources for implementation
  • Manage payroll compliance reporting and conduct payroll audits, investigating discrepancies and recommending solutions
Required qualifications
  • CPP or FPC certification, or equivalent knowledge
  • Knowledge of current and pending payroll laws and regulations
  • Multi-state payroll experience
  • Working knowledge of Workday payroll processing and tax setup
  • Able to assess and prioritize changes in Workday setup and create action plans for implementation
