Payroll Compliance Supervisor

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Payroll Compliance Supervisor to work in a hybrid environment, this full-time position will lead payroll compliance examinations, mentor staff, and utilize advanced Excel skills to ensure adherence to collective bargaining agreements and benefit fund reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and conduct training for payroll compliance staff while providing mentorship and performance feedback
• Utilize advanced Excel and data analysis techniques to identify trends and potential reporting discrepancies
• Manage multiple examinations and build trusted relationships with employers and benefit fund representatives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Human Resources, or related field preferred
• 4+ years of experience in payroll compliance auditing, payroll administration, or related fields
• Prior supervisory, project management, or team leadership experience preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and working with large datasets
• Ability to learn and interpret collective bargaining agreements and benefit fund reporting requirements
