Payroll Compliance Technician
Job Summary
To support compliance initiatives, the fully remote Payroll Compliance Technician will research and apply regulations, develop compliance programs, and monitor compliance activities on a 3-month contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Research, interpret, and apply applicable regulations and compliance requirements
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and processes
- Monitor compliance activities and prepare reports on compliance status
Required qualifications
- Experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, payroll tax, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll tax and employment tax regulations
- Subject matter expertise in U.S. employment tax compliance
- Ability to research, interpret, and apply complex regulations and standards
- Experience supporting compliance within the oil and gas industry is a plus
