Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Processes payroll information and maintains payroll operations according to schedules and policies
- Researches discrepancies such as returned checks and unclaimed property payments
- Responds to employment verification requests and processes communications from the Office of Attorney General
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a finance-related field preferred; substantial professional experience may substitute
- 2+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, banking, operations, or clerical roles
- Moderate experience with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel
- Ability to navigate multiple applications and systems
- Experience working remotely with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
