Job Summary
Assisting the payroll team with daily functions, the part-time Payroll Coordinator will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing while maintaining compliance with regulations in a remote contract role.
Key responsibilities
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations for the US and Canada
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, wage adjustments, deductions, and benefits
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate processing of benefits and deductions
Required qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field
- Experience in payroll processing and compliance
- Familiarity with payroll software and systems
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
