Job Summary
Contributing to the completion of weekly and bi-weekly payroll processes, the full-time Payroll Coordinator will manage payroll operations for over 10,000 employees, ensuring accuracy in earnings, deductions, and compliance with tax regulations in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with daily payroll operations and ensure timely processing for a large workforce
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, including paychecks and W-2s
- Maintain accurate tax records and stay updated on payroll regulations and compliance requirements
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of progressive experience in payroll operations
- In-depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, with multi-state payroll experience preferred
- Experience with payroll systems, particularly Oracle and ADP Smart Compliance
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas
