Payroll Director

Job Summary

Overseeing payroll operations through ADP COS (Lyric) Payroll, the full-time remote Payroll Director will manage vendor relationships, optimize service delivery, and ensure compliance while collaborating with internal stakeholders and leading payroll strategy initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship owner for ADP COS Lyric Payroll, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs
• Define and execute payroll strategy aligned with organizational goals, focusing on outsourcing optimization and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain internal controls, audit readiness, and SOX compliance

Required qualifications

• College degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field
• 10+ years of payroll leadership experience, particularly with outsourced payroll models
• Expertise in managing payroll in large, nationwide organizations and vendor-managed environments
• Experience with Workday HCM and payroll integrations
• FPC or CPP certification is preferred
