Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare technology company, the full-time Payroll Equity Manager will independently execute payroll processing for both exempt and non-exempt employees, ensure compliance and accuracy in payroll operations, and manage equity administration using Rippling and Carta.
Key responsibilities
- Own and execute semi-monthly and bi-weekly payrolls, ensuring accurate processing of employee changes and compliance with payroll laws
- Oversee payroll tax compliance across multiple states and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of stock options and equity transactions
- Continuously improve payroll operations by building scalable workflows and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve payroll issues
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of dedicated payroll experience, with 1-2 years in equity administration
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing in Rippling is strictly required
- Familiarity with Carta for equity management is highly preferred
- Deep knowledge of wage and hour laws and payroll processing cycles for diverse workforces
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, demonstrating entrepreneurial resourcefulness
