Payroll GL Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll/GL Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process semi-monthly multi-state US payroll for hourly and salary employees
• Prepare payroll accounting journal entries and record in the general ledger system
• Assist with year-end payroll processing duties to ensure accurate and timely filing of W2's and 1099s

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Payroll and Accounting, preferably in healthcare technology or SaaS industry
• Experience with ADP and NetSuite strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and tax laws
• Solid understanding of US GAAP
