Job Summary
To support the payroll operations of a growing organization, the full-time Payroll Lead will manage day-to-day payroll activities, ensure compliance and accuracy for multi-state payroll for over 500 employees, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead payroll administration and coordinate the payroll function, focusing on process improvement and compliance
- Oversee payroll transactions, ensuring timely processing in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Audit pay records and address employee inquiries regarding payroll and expense reports efficiently
Required qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree required; higher degree in accounting preferred
- 7+ years of payroll service experience, preferably with ADP or similar systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and payroll compliance
- Practical experience with payroll and ERP systems such as Workday or NetSuite
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
