Payroll Lead Specialist

Job Summary

Managing payroll operations across multiple APAC countries, the full-time remote Payroll Lead Specialist will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, partner with HR and Finance teams, and drive process improvements while maintaining compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for APAC regions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entry approvals
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Employee Services teams to enhance the payroll experience

Required qualifications:

• 8-9 years of experience in payroll, with strong exposure to APAC payroll operations
• In-depth knowledge of payroll practices across APAC countries including China, Singapore, and Japan
• Hands-on experience managing end-to-end global payroll processes
• Familiarity with payroll systems, preferably ADP tools (Celergo, GlobalView, etc.)
• Good understanding of payroll accounting, compliance, and internal controls
