Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Manager to oversee in-house payroll operations for multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll team and ensure accurate processing for up to 2,000 employees
- Support full in-house payroll functions including check distribution, tax payments, and reporting
- Drive automation and assist in payroll audits and process improvements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Human Resources, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in multi-state payroll with supervisory experience
- Experience managing payroll for at least 1,000 employees; union experience preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with payroll software implementations
- Proven leadership skills and a customer-focused attitude
