Payroll Manager

Job Summary

Supporting a fully remote organization on a contract basis through the end of August, the experienced Payroll Manager will lead accurate payroll operations for over 800 employees across multiple states while providing guidance to a payroll associate.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the complete payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing for bi-monthly payroll activities
• Oversee multi-state payroll administration and maintain compliance with varying state and local requirements
• Supervise a payroll associate, assigning work and maintaining high service standards

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle payroll in a high-volume environment
• Hands-on expertise with Dayforce, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Strong background in processing multi-state payroll for remote employee populations
• Prior leadership experience supervising payroll team members
• Solid understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
