Job Summary
To support accurate and compliant payroll processing, the full-time Payroll Manager will work remotely to manage biweekly payroll for multi-state employees, reconcile payroll transactions, and ensure adherence to federal and state regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Process biweekly payroll for multi-state exempt and non-exempt employees following company guidelines
- Reconcile payroll transactions, including wages, taxes, and deductions, while coordinating timesheet postings for approximately 300 employees
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations, in collaboration with the Corporate Controller
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 10 or more years of payroll and/or related accounting experience
- 3 years of end-to-end CostPoint in-house payroll experience, including processing W-2s and multi-state payroll tax filings
- Intermediate-level Excel skills and knowledge of federal and state payroll tax regulations
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency due to security requirements
