Payroll Manager

Job Summary

Leading payroll operations for a growing organization, the fully remote Payroll Manager will manage the end-to-end payroll process for multi-state employees, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations while utilizing Paylocity and Unanet.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll for salaries, hourly wages, bonuses, and commissions
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, including coordinating payroll tax filings
• Supervise payroll staff and develop policies to improve efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including leadership or management responsibilities
• Hands-on experience with Paylocity and Unanet payroll administration
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and experience processing multi-state payroll
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
