Payroll Operations Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Operations Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle U.S. and international payroll processing for multiple clients
• Act as the internal payroll subject matter expert, collaborating with HR and Accounting/Finance teams
• Manage payroll compliance, tax filings, and year-end reporting while ensuring accurate payroll processing

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of U.S. payroll experience, including multi-state payroll
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, wage laws, and compliance requirements
• Experience with payroll systems such as Gusto, Justworks, or similar
• Advanced Excel skills for data management and reconciliation
• Proven experience with payroll reconciliations and audit support
