Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, process, and generate payroll
• Review payroll reports for accuracy and interpret contract language
• Validate complex calculations and compile backup for audit and SOX compliance

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree preferred or 5+ years equivalent work experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll related roles
• FPC or CPP preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles required
• Experience with payroll software preferred
