Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist responsible for generating and processing payroll and related functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares, processes, and generates payroll
• Reviews payroll reports for accuracy and interprets contract language
• Compiles backup documentation for audit and SOX compliance

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll-related roles preferred
• FPC or CPP certification is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles is required
• Experience with payroll software preferred
• Proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables and advanced formulas
