Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Payroll Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance of local, state, and federal tax elections for associates
- Process biweekly and off-cycle payroll requests as necessary
- Assist with year-end W-2 preparation and coordinate with HR and vendor staff
Required Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of payroll and payroll tax experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Finance or Accounting
- Experience with payroll onboarding and tax data validation
- Ability to assist with audits and payroll tax discrepancies
- Experience in maintaining records of tax correspondence
