Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Payroll Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance of local, state, and federal tax elections for associates
  • Process biweekly and off-cycle payroll requests as necessary
  • Assist with year-end W-2 preparation and coordinate with HR and vendor staff
Required Qualifications
  • 1 - 3 years of payroll and payroll tax experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience with payroll onboarding and tax data validation
  • Ability to assist with audits and payroll tax discrepancies
  • Experience in maintaining records of tax correspondence
