Job Summary

Payroll Specialist, responsible for processing bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls for U.S. and Canadian employees, ensuring compliance with payroll laws, and supporting payroll activities in a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process end-to-end payroll for U.S. and Canadian employees, including validations and adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and support year-end payroll activities
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors on payroll-related system enhancements and issue resolution
Required Qualifications
  • 4-5+ years of progressive payroll experience in a large, multi-state and multi-provincial environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Payroll
  • Experience managing complex payroll scenarios, including audits and reconciliations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis
  • Ability to train others on payroll processes and develop documentation
