Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time Payroll Specialist will manage the preparation and processing of payroll for various divisions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Process biweekly payroll using ADP, ensuring accurate calculations of wages, deductions, and compliance with payroll laws
- Prepare payroll reports and conduct audits to resolve discrepancies and support year-end processing
- Serve as the primary contact for employee payroll inquiries and assist with payroll onboarding and life-cycle events
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- 2-5 years of experience processing full-cycle payroll for businesses with 500 to 1500 employees
- Proficiency with ADP or similar payroll software, particularly ADP Workforce Now
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong ERP/reporting system experience
- In-depth understanding of payroll regulations, including tax laws and wage compliance
