Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting a Phoenix-based company on a part-time remote contract basis, the Payroll Specialist will manage bi-weekly payroll for over 400 employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance while utilizing ADP Workforce Now.

Key responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for a multi-state workforce, including both hourly and salaried employees
• Manage payroll activities across multiple pay codes and two legal entities, ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Assist employees with benefit enrollment processes and troubleshoot payroll discrepancies

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing for a workforce of 400 or more employees
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, including payroll administration and employee setup
• Solid understanding of payroll compliance and processing across multiple employee classifications
• Ability to troubleshoot payroll and benefits-related discrepancies with accuracy
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
