Job Summary
Supporting payroll operations for a high-volume office, the full-time Payroll Specialist will process payroll for over 10,000 employees, ensuring timely and accurate payroll production while providing excellent customer service in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Process and audit payroll for a large health system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with a team to handle payroll-related inquiries and issues, providing positive customer service
- Utilize payroll software and systems to manage multi-company payroll processing efficiently
Required qualifications
- High School Education/GED
- 3 to 5 years of payroll experience using an automated time and attendance system
- Current knowledge of Wage and Hour laws in a hospital environment
- Experience with payroll processing for over 8,000 employees
- Intermediate skills in Excel and Word
