Job Summary
Supporting payroll operations in a high-volume environment, the full-time Payroll Specialist will process changes for over 10,000 employees while ensuring timely and accurate payroll production and providing excellent customer service remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Process and audit payroll for a large health system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with a team to manage payroll operations and respond to payroll/payment inquiries
- Utilize payroll systems and software to maintain efficient processing and reporting
Required qualifications
- High School Education/GED
- 3 to 5 years of payroll experience using an automated time and attendance system
- Current knowledge of Wage and Hour laws in a hospital environment
- Experience with multi-company payroll processing
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
