Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting payroll operations in a high-volume environment, the full-time Payroll Specialist will process changes for over 10,000 employees while ensuring timely and accurate payroll production and providing excellent customer service remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Process and audit payroll for a large health system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with a team to manage payroll operations and respond to payroll/payment inquiries
• Utilize payroll systems and software to maintain efficient processing and reporting

Required qualifications

• High School Education/GED
• 3 to 5 years of payroll experience using an automated time and attendance system
• Current knowledge of Wage and Hour laws in a hospital environment
• Experience with multi-company payroll processing
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
