Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

Processing payroll for approximately 30 surgery centers, the full-time Payroll Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries while working remotely and managing data entry, reporting, and system maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to convert payroll data into the UltiPro HR/Payroll system
• Administer payroll processes, including data entry, employee training, and timely approval of changes
• Address payroll inquiries and manage tax-related issues across multiple states

Required qualifications

• BS degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, as well as ERISA regulations
• Experience with UltiPro software is preferred
• Strong mathematical skills for payroll calculations
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
