Job Summary
To support a growing managed team, the full-time Payroll Specialist III will ensure accurate processing of payroll cycles, manage client payroll matters, and perform quality control audits while working onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure all aspects of the payroll cycle, including tax, benefits, and garnishments, are processed accurately and on time
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve client payroll issues and maintain compliance with contractual obligations
- Proactively manage quarter- and year-end payroll auditing and processing while contributing to process improvements
Required qualifications
- Two years of U.S. payroll processing experience in a high-volume payroll operation
- Experience in payroll outsourcing or consulting is preferred
- Strong understanding of payroll, benefits, taxation, and applicable legislative requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with intermediate proficiency in Excel
- Associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred
