Job Summary
To support a growing organization, the full-time Payroll Specialist will process and reconcile multi-state payroll, ensure compliance with payroll regulations, and manage payroll transactions in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Process and reconcile multi-state semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of U.S. payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processing
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now; Workday experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)
- Bachelor's degree preferred; CPP or FPC certification is a plus
