Job Summary
To support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services, the full-time Payroll Specialist will manage payroll processing for U.S. and Canadian employees, serve as the primary contact for payroll inquiries, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support day-to-day payroll processing activities and maintain payroll records in compliance with applicable regulations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues
- Generate compliance payroll reports and assist with payroll audits and documentation requests
Required qualifications
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of U.S. payroll practices and compliance requirements
- Working knowledge of Canadian payroll practices is considered an asset
- Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems such as ADP or Kronos
- Proven ability to manage confidential payroll and financial information with discretion
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
