Payroll Supervisor

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Supervisor to manage end-to-end payroll administration for a contract position at a well-established independent advertising agency in Santa Monica, offering remote work flexibility and occasional onsite collaboration, while overseeing payroll for approximately 500 employees across multiple states.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee payroll processing for three pay groups, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for both freelance and salaried employees
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and tax requirements while managing payroll records in ADP Workforce Now
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to address payroll inquiries and support onboarding processes

Required qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle payroll, particularly with ADP Workforce Now
• Proven ability to process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls accurately for a workforce of 500 or more employees
• Solid understanding of multi-state payroll practices and regulatory compliance
• Experience with employee onboarding support and payroll system administration
• Familiarity with Greenhouse or similar applicant tracking systems is preferred
