Job Summary
To support a growing payroll platform, the full-time Payroll Support Specialist will manage payroll inquiries, resolve issues, and guide customers through the payroll product, all while working remotely within the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Handle payroll support tasks including pay runs, direct deposits, and tax filing corrections
- Diagnose and resolve payroll issues promptly, ensuring accurate and timely support for customers
- Write and maintain help articles and internal documentation to enhance team efficiency and customer self-sufficiency
Required qualifications
- 1 - 2 years of experience in payroll support, processing, or operations
- 3+ years of experience in customer support, preferably in a SaaS, fintech, or HR/payroll software environment
- Solid understanding of payroll fundamentals and compliance requirements
- Experience writing help documentation or contributing to a knowledge base
- Familiarity with startup environments and the ability to work under pressure
