Job Summary
To enhance payroll operations in a growing multi-state healthcare organization, the full-time remote Payroll Systems Manager will oversee payroll systems, tax operations, and process optimization while collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance and improve efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Support oversight of payroll tax operations, ensuring multi-state compliance and resolution of tax issues
- Manage payroll-related integrations and configurations within Workday and other vendor platforms
- Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements to enhance payroll processes and operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in payroll operations, payroll systems, and HRIS within a multi-state environment required
- Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll and ADP, including payroll tax support and vendor management required
- Experience supporting payroll in a multi-state environment required
- Strong analytical skills and experience with process optimization initiatives required
