Payroll Tax Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Tax Accountant responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance in payroll tax filings.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete periodic reconciliation of payroll transactions and tax payments
• Research and resolve reconciling items on payroll tax accounts
• Manage amendments to tax returns and communicate with tax authorities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 5 years' experience in multi-state or nationwide payroll
• Minimum 3 years' experience with payroll tax and accounting
• FPC or CPP Certification
• In-depth understanding of tax regulations, including multi-state and local taxes
