Payroll Tax Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Tax Analyst - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teammates to create efficiencies with state and local agency submissions
• Communicate with state agencies on behalf of clients and projects
• Prepare and submit forms to relevant tax agencies and manage project data

Required Qualifications

• 3 years' experience with payroll taxes, including unemployment insurance and state/local withholding tax
• 3 years' experience assisting clients with payroll complexities
• Understanding of the SUTA Dumping Prevention Act of 2004
• Knowledge of tax laws for reporting in various states
• Experience in payroll tax filing issues and resolution across multiple states
