Job Summary
Supporting clients with payroll tax compliance and year-end activities, the full-time Payroll Tax Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for tax inquiries while ensuring accurate payroll tax submissions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary customer contact for Managed Tax inquiries and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution
- Support payroll and tax compliance by researching federal, state, and local tax laws and assessing the impact of tax law changes
- Coordinate employee-level year-end tax activities and participate in year-end planning meetings as a payroll tax subject matter expert
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll tax, payroll administration, or human resources/payroll experience; 5+ years preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Tax, Human Resources, or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience working in high-volume, multi-state payroll environments
- Strong understanding of payroll tax compliance and associated regulatory requirements
- Experience applying payroll auditing techniques and principles
