Job Summary
Managing end-to-end payroll tax compliance, the full-time Payroll Tax Analyst will handle federal, state, and local tax filings, audits, and notices for US and UK payroll while serving as a backup processor for payroll operations remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, process, and file all payroll tax filings and payments for US and UK corporate payroll
- Audit payroll tax accounts and resolve discrepancies, including managing tax notices and amendments
- Support year-end payroll tax processing and monitor changes in payroll tax laws for compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; or 8+ years of equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in payroll tax compliance, including filing, auditing, and notice resolution
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and tax laws for US and UK
- Strong working knowledge of Workday Payroll and experience with TaxEx or comparable tax filing software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
