Job Summary

Managing end-to-end payroll tax compliance, the full-time Payroll Tax Analyst will handle federal, state, and local tax filings, audits, and notices for US and UK payroll while serving as a backup processor for payroll operations remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare, process, and file all payroll tax filings and payments for US and UK corporate payroll
  • Audit payroll tax accounts and resolve discrepancies, including managing tax notices and amendments
  • Support year-end payroll tax processing and monitor changes in payroll tax laws for compliance
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; or 8+ years of equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll tax compliance, including filing, auditing, and notice resolution
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and tax laws for US and UK
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday Payroll and experience with TaxEx or comparable tax filing software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
