Job Summary

Supporting complex multi-state payroll tax compliance, the full-time Payroll Tax Analyst will manage tax registrations, filings, and remittances while ensuring accuracy and adherence to federal, state, and local laws in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with payroll tax laws, including multi-state tax registrations and filings
  • Analyze and reconcile payroll tax data to support periodic and annual tax filings
  • Manage tax notices and correspondence from tax agencies, resolving issues as needed
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • At least five years of payroll tax experience in a multi-state environment
  • FPC or CPP certification preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of U.S. federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance
  • Experience with payroll tax systems implementation or testing is a plus
