Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Tax Analyst to oversee payroll tax processes, reconcile tax payments, maintain tax records, and provide support to employees.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee payroll tax processes and ensure compliance with government regulations
  • Reconcile tax payments and bridge the gap between payroll and the general ledger
  • Maintain payroll tax information, conduct audits, and provide reports to stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Experience resolving complex payroll tax issues and working with vendors and state tax agencies
  • Prior experience using an HRIS, preferably ADP, for tax information input and reporting
  • Proficiency in Excel functions and formulas for payroll tax data analysis
  • Knowledge of payroll tax laws and best practices for multi-state payroll
  • Ability to adapt to the evolving landscape of payroll taxation
