Job Summary

To ensure compliance and enhance client support, the full-time Payroll Tax Consultant will manage payroll tax returns, resolve tax notices, and assist clients with registration and compliance requirements while working in a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Review and file payroll tax returns accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Research and resolve payroll tax notices, communicating effectively with tax agencies and clients
  • Provide guidance and support to clients regarding payroll tax questions and assist in setting up payroll tax accounts for new clients
Required qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll tax experience in a payroll service bureau or processing environment
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
  • Experience with payroll and tax software, as well as researching and resolving payroll tax notices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
